Have you heard of “Rocketboom”?
Try and google it.
Rocketboom.com is a website where the co-founder Andrew Baron and Amanda Congdon, then the host, launch 5-minute videos. One in each day, except weekends and holidays since October 2004.
The idea is easy. They collect news from around the world, mostly from the internet and about internet culture, and edit it in a video, interesting enough that it attracts 400,000 viewers each day. The production for one episode costs a staggering US$ 20. It’s not bad, considering the US$ 2 millions they generate annually from ads!
